Playing With Fire - Nail Designs That Sizzle!

At first glance, the simple nail designs in the picture resemble a burning fire, perhaps in the woods somewhere. Upon closer observation, you will notice that these simple nail designs are really just an imitation of tiger stripes. It is not a surprise that human's animalistic nature is depicted in nail art. In this case, the tiger represents energy, vibrancy and a little bit of mischief.
So, how can we create our own version of this tiger art and turn it into a simple nail design? We are definitely not going to use airbrushing and our nails will probably not be that long.
Simple nail designs: tiger nails
To begin, paint all of your nails with clear polish. Then, paint the top- half of your nail golden yellow. If you do not have a dark yellow, just use regular yellow. Let dry. Taking a sienna or light brown polish, dab it over almost the entire surface of the yellow paint. Do not cover up the entire yellow surface. Now you have two alternating colors, which will create the fire effect.
Remember, you are not painting the bottom-half of your nails, only the top-half. If you look at the picture, you will notice that the bottom-half is supposed to remain bare. This adds a professional element to your nails without making them look overdone. Finally, use a black art brush to draw tiger stripes on your nails. The stripes should vary in thickness and length. They should also be squiggly in nature, not stark straight. Finish with a clear coat of polish.
